UNO:MADRE is a mechanised sculpture designed by Olga Blanco and built with the collaboration of Lucas Pereyra and Josep María Comas for Paisaje dentro de Paisaje: 3. Acto de Fe.

Olga Blanco investigates the boundaries between sculpture, installation and theatrical space.

UNO:MADRE is a sound sculpture: a 9-metre high structure composed of intertwined chrome-plated rods and a system of MIDI-operated percussion hammers.

Once the musical phrase has been completed, the machine begins a slow movement of unfolding its structure, reaching a width of 6 metres.
