Crudo is a performance born from the choreographic material of Paisaje dentro de Paisaje: 2. Lo Animal, premiered at Teatros del Canal on May 3, 2023.
Crudo is an exploration of the human body’s form in union with space and time, a vision of the body through shape, matter, fold, relief and landscape.
The work appeals to one of the core principles of the research: the only means by which human beings can merge with the landscape is through ritual.
The ultimate goal of Crudo is to reach the sacred, not in the religious sense, but as the precise moment when the body merges with the landscape.
